DENISE NURSE
Denise Nurse is an award winning Entrepreneur, Television Presenter, Solicitor and Business Coach and is known of breaking barriers, setting new trends and for her bright and warm personality.
She is best known for presenting BBC One’s Escape to Country [since 2007 and after a rather long maternity leave of 9 years, she returned to screen in 2022]. She has also presented the weather for Sky News, including live from Glastonbury, and was a travel presenter on location and in studio for Sky Travel. As a lawyer she has presented on BBC’s Watch Dog.
As an Entrepreneur in 2007 she co-founded Halebury, a pioneering UK law firm that introduced flexible, agile and remote working to the legal industry. In 2018 she successfully sold the business to a US based global consulting company.
Denise is the Co-Founder of Black Founders Hub www.blackfoundershub.com, the peer networking organisation for Black Founders of ambitious professional services businesses and of Support SEND Kids, supportsendkids.org a charity that is creating a platform to make access to educationalrights easier for children with special educational needs and disabilities and their families.
Denise is an inspirational keynote speaker, sharing her business and tv life story and inspiring women to realise their value and create wealth legacies. She is a business and life coach focussed on creating economic empowerment for her clients. She lives in SW London with her husband and three children and cat and loves to dance.
