SOPHIA LONGHI

Sophia Longhi is an award-winning wine writer, communicator and international wine judge. After launching her own wine blog in 2018 at www.skinandpulp.com, Sophia has had numerous articles published in wine trade publications, as well as being a regular wine contributor to the Ocado magazine, Ocado Life.

One of Sophia’s biggest passions is discovering and sharing wines with a curious audience, and she has hosted wine tastings in a variety of settings, from restaurants and bars to festivals and barns. Sophia has led on-stage masterclasses at national events, like the Ideal Home Show in 2021 and 2022, and has also discussed wine and wine communication on variety of panels, including at the London Wine Fair in 2023.

Communicating to an active and growing following on Instagram as @skinandpulp, Sophia often partners with acclaimed wine brands to create engaging social media content. She has also been an official ambassador for two leading drinks industry events, Wine Paris and Imbibe Live. The inaugural IWSC Emerging Talent in Wine Communication Award was won by Sophia in 2022.

Though Sophia travels extensively to write about vineyards all over the world and judge wines for the International Wine & Spirit Competition in places like Austria and South Africa, she loves spending time at the beach in Brighton, where she lives with her husband, Rob and her dog, Luna.
